Controls Designer
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Team as we are actively recruiting for a Controls Designer. Responsible for designing, documenting, and supporting automation controls systems, ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. This position reports to the Controls Design Group Leader.

What we’re looking for
- Controls Design for Custom Machinery, Turnkey, Applied and Configured products
- Design 480/600 VAC, 120VAC, 24VDC solutions
- Design communication networks
- Design robot interfaces
- Design fixture tool solutions
- Design interconnection diagrams, cell layouts, and supplies
- Design enclosures, provide component placement, consider interconnection solutions
- Design fluids
- Provide solutions for fixtures, robots, cells, applied and configured products and headers
- Research component function, read datasheets
- Select components, size circuits, create schematics, size cables, release materials
- Attend meetings, internally and with customers, supporting project milestones
- Work closely with a team, coordinate efforts to support project timelines
- Adhere to applicable federal, provincial, state and local codes and laws as applicable
- Adhere to customer specifications as applicable
What you need to succeed
- Preferred 3+ years Controls Design work experience
- Demonstrated experience carrying out the above-mentioned roles and responsibilities
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, Office 365, Inventor

Wage Range: $25.00 - $43.00 / hour
