Machine Operator

CenterLine (Windsor) Limited is looking for a self-motivated, reliable individual to fill the position of Cold Header Machine Operator responsible for the machine setting and production operation of a Cold Heading Machine. The process includes forging, extruding, and upsetting to produce weld caps. This position reports the Cold Header Group Leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate assigned production equipment at optimum efficiency
• Check raw material for proper size, type and defects
• Load material
• Inspect product visually and dimensionally during and after machine cycle
• Use of hand tools and measuring devices used in machining processes
• Required to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to perform tasks in a prescribed order of operation
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Secondary School Diploma required
• 2+ years previous assembly, manufacturing, or machining experience
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Must be organized with good attention to detail
