Quality Control Inspector

What you will do

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Quality Team as we are actively recruiting for a Quality Control Inspector (afternoon shift) responsible for supporting part specific dimensional layouts prior to shipping to our customer. The candidate should possess a working knowledge of data/analysis / statistical methods. This position reports to the Quality Supervisor.

What we’re looking for:

  • Responsible for the inspection of incoming, ‘in-process’, and finished machined details
  • Log and report findings to Quality Supervisor
  • Develop and incorporate quality initiatives as required
  • Position may require shift work

What you need to succeed:

  • Blueprint reading
  • Knowledge of measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, height gauge)
  • Detail oriented / analytical thinker
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, multi-tasking
  • Experience interfacing with cross- functional Teams
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
