What you will do
CenterLine Windsor Limited is looking for a self-motivated, reliable individual to fill the position of CNC Boring Mill Operator responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and monitoring horizontal/vertical CNC boring mills to machine, complex, and precision components such as large plates, weldments, and structural frames to engineering specifications.
What we’re looking for
- Study and interpret drawings, specifications, to determine dimensions and tolerances of operations and setup requirements.
- Set up, program, operate, and maintain a variety of horizontal / vertical CNC boring mills.
- Report equipment malfunctions and detect machined parts out of tolerance. Adjust machine accordingly, within the employee’s capabilities.
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Report deviations from specifications and tolerances to supervisor.
What you need to succeed
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Experience in setting up and running programs in a lean manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
