Software Developer
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Team as we are actively recruiting for a Software Developer responsible for developing and maintaining customer-facing systems, developing and maintaining internal software and data automation systems, data input/validation, basic CI/CD maintenance, and various generic coding work items. This position is an on-site, entry-level, full-stack development role and reports to the Software Development Supervisor.

What we’re looking for
- Manage work item tracking in Azure DevOps to facilitate company Developer KPI initiatives, achieving sprint capacity requirements and updating work items daily
- Understand and stay current with all internal and external (customer-facing) applications and systems
- Generate documentation (use cases, requirements, mockups, user flow diagrams, etc.)
- Adhere to project commitments and deadlines based on approved Delivery Plans
- Write, test and deploy code for various applications to complete requirements of stakeholder business needs.
- Create and maintain project test suites
- Create and maintain build automation pipelines
- Data input in the form of CenterLine Product machine onboarding
- Interface with external departments to validate onboarded machines
- Support internal processes through the creation of data models, workflows, and automation.
- Support existing software systems by investigating and troubleshooting bugs, designing fixes, triaging feature requests, and assisting end users with training and process creation.
- Support CenterLine’s Employee Continuous Improvement (ECI) initiatives with knowledge sharing and brainstorming to eliminate waste and destroy hidden factories.
- Complete various generic coding work items assigned by Senior Developers/Architects to assist with department workload efficiency
What you need to succeed
- Computer Science degree with a skillset proven through relevant work experience or personal projects.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Serverless offerings; experience in these areas is considered an asset.
- Experience in the following technologies: React, Typescript, HTML5, ASP.net, C#, .NET Core, Java, CSS, JavaScript, IIS, MS SQL Server
- Ability to leverage in-house and third-party libraries for fast turnaround of deliverables.
- Proficiency in data analysis, modelling and visualization using modern Business Intelligence tools.
- Experience creating back-end REST APIs to service multiple front end user interfaces is considered an asset.
- Experience with Data Science/Machine Learning related technologies is considered an asset.
- Experience with PLM systems and/or Windchill PDMLink is considered an asset.
- Experience with EpicorERP is considered an asset.
- Experience with Engineering workflows is considered an asset.
- Experience with Agile development workflows (Scrum, waterfall, SCCM, xP) is considered an asset.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 / year
